All the tire guys I know say that you can vary the pressure in tires by 10 lbs up or down depending on your usage and load:2_thumbs_up_-_anima. I don't see anything wrong with 32 lbs in most cases. rally_wheels_2.jpg Just get your tire to look like this in whatever condition.

As a matter of course, I run at the maximum in the sidewall of the tire. I can't remember what the 302 cars specified, but my 89 sedan with the 351 was 34 rear, 28 front. I hated the soft steering, so upped that to 35/35, which was the max for the tires. When I switched to the Comp T/As, they were a 45 pound tire, so that is what i ran them at, with no problem at all. Tire shops will try to tell you that the high pressures on new tires will cause wear in the middle. My argument is that running a 50 pound tire at 35 is like running a 35 pound tire at 25 psi. As long as the tire and rim are compatible for width, no problem.
