    Wow... my parents had one ! The brakes and steering sucked but is rode good and the construction was tougher than Mongolian Algebra!

    Yeah, I had a '68 Rebel SST and the brakes sucked on that too, even though they were 4 pot discs. I converted them using a BMW set up after nearly rear ending a queue of traffic at the bottom of the hill into Lyme Regis, luckily there was side road I was able to escape into. A real chocolate underpant moment!
