Could be a demo car. Could also be a real screamer of a deal. That price is scrap value, so he obviously needs it gone but would like to see someone have it, not scrap it.
Gosh, he sure gave a lot of details. I suppose we could trace the phone number to locate what State it's in. Might be a great project.
not a demo car guy but one will get it i got 1800 for my 74 custom cruiser stripped ot with no drivetrain! if i lived near there i would make a KILLING on that car and 73 is a GOOD on as it had welded on front brackets!
That's why some adds confuse me. We lived near Lincoln, Illinois and there are other Lincolns. I bought a Model T that came from Lincoln, Neb.
If you were to live within a reasonable distance why would you not look $400 this seller may have a need to move it now. somebodys loss may be someones Gainif only it was downunder
Something is fishy x2. The car is worth more than 400 bucks scrap? Weighing over 5000 pounds it should be more in the 650-750 dollar range depending on the daily car scrap prices, 13 cents a pound last time I was at the yard in early January. Maybe the guy can't afford to have it towed to a scrap yard or he can't scrap it because he doesn't have the title?
Go to Lincoln, Illinois. Closer and they are already rusty and probably as cheap. How can this be a scam if someone looks at it and doesn't give any money until the deal is done? To send money for anything without checking it out or having someone else look is stupid.
