Here is my new 1966 Chevelle Malibu project.

Has all original drivetrain and all the rust you want in the usual areas.

283 two barrel and Powerglide , will be adding A/C, P/S, P/Disc Brake.

Need tailgate regulator for power window if anyone has a spare....

    Love my new Long Roof!!

Welcome aboard! Congrats on your wagon! Question - the engine pic - where's that upper coolant hose going?

My guess is it's "going" to be removed...:rofl2:

Not a fan of the flex hose, I almost never sell them.

Agreed. Flex hose should be as a back-up ONLY! Keep it in the trunk if you need it. Slows cooling down!!

Absolutely they do. I have sold them for a few very odd swap engine to radiator combos but the factory fit hoses are the best and normally are less expensive.

Ok - thanks. Couldn't really tell from the pic and I thought it was routing through the driver's side wheel well. So what's the plans for the wagon?

We're doing a 67 wagon down here, but we don't have a beach. When it's time for AC, you'll love the Vintage Air electronic system. I've got a 66 Malibu 2 door hardtop. It's about all done. For disc brakes, I bought a conversion from a 71 Chevelle, bolted right up.

I just order the Vintage Air kit and was hoping that the system works. The conversion for the original heater controls looks great. I did have fun cutting the dash openings to fit the vents. My DNA is now part of the dash...

The brake conversion was easy with parts I had collected over the years. Will be replacing the steering box with a power unit.
