Clamshell window seal

    By a pure coincident i discovered that the hood rubber seal from a chevy van, -88 or so works like a charm, and look good too for the rear window to pillar seal.. I just cut it in desired length, and used the original screws and holes. A little black silicone in the bottom to close the profile makes it look like a factory part.

    This is great news, but can you provide a little more information?

    Are you talking specifically a FULL SIZE Chevy Van, like this:

    a friend of mine has a full size chevy van out back of his house i can check out and i'll see if i can find an astro too!
