    This 6-passenger Dodge Coronet Crestwood station wagon is 1 of only 2884 produced in 1971. The Crestwood was the top of the line Coronet wagon and came standard with a high performance 383 cubic inch engine and Carter AVS 4-barrel carburetor, factory dual exhausts, and the Charger dash with 150 MPH speedometer. Other standard equipment included a Torqueflite automatic transmission, power steering, power (front disc) brakes, electric tailgate window, luggage rack, tinted glass, and AM radio. Body is very solid with no rust anywhere, not even in the spare tire well, which is very rare for these wagons. Car was originally medium green metallic but has been repainted in a semi-gloss black finish. Has good tires mounted on Chrysler rallye wheels with 15" on rear and 14" on front. Steering, brakes, transmission, and suspension are in very good operating condition however engine does have an small exhaust manifold leak on drivers side. 5-digit odometer shows 23,485 but most probably 123,485. Needs carpet, seats recovered, and windshield is cracked. Call (904) 525-9146 or (904) 268-3710.

    Here's how the fender tag on this rare wagon decodes:

    E65 = 383 cubic inch 4 bbl 330 HP
    D32 = A727 Torqueflite Transmission
    WP45 = Dodge Coronet Crestwood 6-Passenger Wagon
    N = 383 4bbl engine

    G = St. Louis, MO (Assembly Plant)
    155372 = Sequence Number (Vehicle Serial Number)
    GF3 = Medium Green Metallic Exterior

    A35 = HD Trailer Towing Package (3.23 Axle High Capacity Fan)
    B41 = Front Disc Brakes
    B51 = Power Brakes Req'd
    G11 = Tinted Windows
    G33 = L/H O/S Mirror Remote/Chrome

    NOTE: This wagon is comparable to the winning Rod Shop Dodge-sponsored L/SA wagon (see photo) that was driven by husband Dave and wife Judi Boertman in NHRA stock competition during the 1971 season. Dave wheeled the wagon to Stock Eliminator at the Winternationals in Pomona and Judi captured the Stock Eliminator tiitle at Englishtown in the first ever husband and wife final when Dave red-lighted in his similarly sponsored J/SA Charger.

    Great looking wagon. Too bad it is missing all the trim for around the wood grain. The Crestwood came with the wood grain as standard, and I'm not sure it was available with a delete. Would be great to see this one brought back to what is should be, a smaller, but just as luxurious, Town & Country.

    This car reminds me a LOT of my Satty. My car was that color green as well. I like this one for sure, even the satin black looks good IMHO.

    What is with all the satin/flat black cars lately? Is it a fashion statement?

    It's the "rat rod" look.

    Plus, a real paint job is so damn expensive these days that, for a lot of people, this is the only affordable alternative.

    I agree with Pat here, I think it has become a "look" but it's an inexpensive alternative to a custom paint job.
