I bought my 1997 Subaru wagon in mid September and it had 146,200 miles.
As of today it has 150,100 miles on it.I use it back and forth to work everyday.
Been upstate New York,New Jersey.Going up to Boston this weekend.
Love driving my car-that's what I bought it for.
Great fuel mileage and great AWD traction in the first snow we had recently.

because of my teenager crashing his truck right after the first big snow storm, I'm down a set of wheels. I thought about letting him drive one of my wagons but i love them too much to see them get hurt. so he is now driving my 2008 truck and i'm alternating wagons so as not to put all the miles on one car. so i guess both my cars are kind of daily drivers but i wish they were parked for the winter.

I don't drive my car nearly as much as I use too, or as much as I'd like. When I had a job I'd cruise between midnight and 4AM, on days which I did not have to work, unless I could sleep all day. Go home, change into something not caked in the smell of fast food (IE clothes that did not smell deep fried), and cruise until I felt I had blown enough of my paycheck out the tailpipe.

No clue on the mileage, car had about 250k on it when we got it in '95, motor had a lower end rebuild about 50k before that, trans supposedly hadn't been touched, stock 200R4. Trans got replaced with a rebuilt 700R4 around 2000-ish, motor got rebuilt within the same year as the upper end let loose, roller lifters.

That plus the Odometer stopped working with the speedometer around 2k6, and was not repaired until recently, bad sending gear, along with an entirely different speedo being swapped in. So we have no clue what the mileage is. Not many original parts left either, I'd have an easier time listing what hasn't been replaced. "Honk if parts fall off" does not apply, I've already put them all back on and kept on Cruisin'.

In good weather, I drive it every weekend to car shows. Once the weather gets cold, the car stays in the garage till next spring. It is 50 years old, and not a spot of rust, and I intend to keep it that way.
