    The car should have wire wheel covers.

    Exactly like mine, but a different interior color. Mine also has the turbine rims. A lot more than I paid for mine though.

    I don't remember exactly which year Ford made the 15 inch wheels standard. Were the 55 Fords o 14s or 15s? Those wheels and tires look undersized. By 86, 15s were standard, and had 215/70#15 tires. Before that the base tire was a 225/75R14, with a 205/75R15 standard, and that was NOT enough meat on the road. Only the LX trim had the turbine spoked wheel standard. The lower trim levels had steel wheels and full wheel covers with wire covers or turbine spokes as optional upgrades. Over all, though, it does look really, really nice.
