I think its the rear door area, but Pontiac is the same as the Chevrolet too. Olds and Buick are slightly longer, but not by much.

Well, the seller of that wagon must be clueless because I emailed and ask if it had rust and the 3rd seat... the reply was "bone dry"... then later I went back and noticed it has the 402 engine... I told him and said it made the car worth more and his reply was "no rust anywhere".

    Oh well.

The guy on the derby site wouldn't be the one that paints all the wagons he wants to sell would it and they call him the "Pink Dog"? I will keep my eyes open around here for one for you. As I stated in my intro last year, I am a "reformed" derbier, and am also on a crusade to save the whales.:D. Luckily, we have gone to 80 and newer here for the derbies, and everyone runs sedans...Plus the guys love to have the wagons for drivers!

Hi, no his name is "Joker14". He thinks he is a know it all. He has rude comments to most everyone. He wants to tell them very little about the cars he has. You cannot even ask for a photo. He clearly only wants to sell cars to derby... not restore.

LOL "reformed" derbier -- I think there is space for most of us. Beside I don't think may of us will save some of the very rusty cars they derby.

Anyways 73Catalina if you can find a nice 71 - 76 Buick wagon I would be very happy!...

    Cheers Dyna

How funny... I emailed him again and told him again it had a 402 and was not sure if he got/understood my reply. His reply was "dont know". Oh well, all I can do is offer help/info and advice... the rest is up to him. :disagree:

I just looked and he did go up $1000 on the starting bid and his reply was "found out it was worth more than we thought", but did not change the description or say why. I would have left the opening bid @ $1000 and added that it has a 402 engine and see what happens.

Sure wish I had the cash, and that I wouldn't get my behind chewed by my daddy for taking that beauty home.

WOW! Man-O-Man! This poor Wagon is sure making the "Horse Trader Rounds!" What ashame -- anybody out there near Colorado?? (I don't recall anyone else or any ads stating that the "engine knocks real bad..." What does that mean?!) SURE LOOKS like it'd be a pretty neat driver! Hmmmm....it will be interesting to keep an eye on this one...You all sure have "GOOD EYES" for catching all of these out there! GOOD work!
