I am just looking for help or at least a point in the right direction. I have a 92 caprice station wagon the engine is 5.7L 350. if my research is right its a L98. its tbi throttle body injection. i just know where to start
well aint you got bad luck?! the 1st guy to read your intro is the Ford guy.. so i'll just say......and wait for the GM guys to find you
Welcome to the wagon huddle. The GM guys will chime in and give you lots of tips for that 'fastest wagon' goal. Good to have you aboard.
Welcome! Al;though I am more a GM guy, I would be interested to know as well what the best route would be. These engine are too modern for me. but with the TBI setup it should have lots of potential!
You've got a long way to go to beat this guy! Welcome. [ame="http://videos.streetfire.net/video/Quickest-stock-suspension_19148.htm"]Quickest stock suspension Chevy Caprice wagon on t- Video[/ame]
Drop a LS6 in it also a dual turbo set up and you will be close. Right now I am working on The Worlds Slowest Ford Truck
Well, if money would play a roll as well, but you decide to swap engines anyway, go for a 400. Still being a small block, it will save lots of money on parts compared to big block parts. Lot's of potential.
400 sb's are nice if you're going cost-effective. If money's no object. Go with a nice big 572, even though I'm not sure that such an animal would hold up in there.
