92 caprice wagon 5.7L 350 I want to make this the fastest wagon in town

    I am just looking for help or at least a point in the right direction. I have a 92 caprice station wagon the engine is 5.7L 350. if my research is right its a L98. its tbi throttle body injection. i just know where to start

    Welcome! Al;though I am more a GM guy, I would be interested to know as well what the best route would be. These engine are too modern for me. :D but with the TBI setup it should have lots of potential!

    Drop a LS6 in it also a dual turbo set up and you will be close.

    Pull the motor and tranny. Go big block and a 5 speed.

    Well, if money would play a roll as well, but you decide to swap engines anyway, go for a 400. Still being a small block, it will save lots of money on parts compared to big block parts. Lot's of potential.

    400 sb's are nice if you're going cost-effective. If money's no object. Go with a nice big 572, even though I'm not sure that such an animal would hold up in there.
