This guy actually purchased my '70 Buick Estate wagon not long ago. He was a really nice guy, but does not like woodgrain on wagons. He was going to remove the woodgrain from mine and paint it a solid color. He also likes highly optioned wagons. This one looks nice, but I'm not a fan of the exterior color either.

Your Buick was really, really nice as it was when you sold it.

Call me strange, but I really love that colour combination. Distinctive and sharp is how I would describe that one. If I could have a summer car, this would possibly be the one for me. I would never want to drive such a beauty in winter, though.

I like those burnt orange colours too. But I'd put the woodgrain back on it to add some contrast and reduce some of the orange.

I'm thinking that chrome molding on the D-pillar indicates it once had a vinyl top too.

I'm really liking that color as well.
If you like 'wood', a lighter-grain color would look really sharp, instead of the factory Di-Noc, which was pretty dark on these..... Not sure I would do that, though.....

Showed this one to both wifey and daughter.(y)(y)

Seller seems to have some very nice vehicles for sale. Feedback looks OK.
I put a bid in, but was instantly outbid.
    We'll see......

Here's a link to a page of the '70 Buick catalog, showing the colors. This is not an original color, but I love it.

I also think that color is sharp. I don't like the wheels and tires though. I have an aversion to fake wood grain. It just doesn't look right to me on a car. I love the old (real) woodies though. I was a carpenter most of my career and can't stand fake wood, whether it be paneling, laminate and vinyl flooring, Formica etc.

I'm also liking the colour, but needs some wood. How ever I think it should be dark, brite wood just may send it oer the top for 'ka-bling'

I like the color...it's the wire wheels I find off-putting.

If this ended up in my garage, they would probably get changed. I could live with them for a while though.... better than having 20" chrome dubs.....

I rather like the look of the wire wheels. More so than the factory wire wheel covers. They look like they may be Kelsey-Hayes wheels, and they are far from an inexpensive item. You could certainly recoup a chunk of the pruchase price by selling them.

We're up to $6,101 so far.
Auction ends around 3:00PM PST Saturday.

I'm thinking this one will easily get into the 5 figures.....

I like the look of this wagon as she sits. Woodgrain might be an additional plus I suppose.

I like the whole thing, as is. The molding trim and wire wheels harken back to a '53 Buick Skylark 1953-Buick-Skylark-Matador-Red.jpg

Don't know how I screwed it up, but the auction actually ends Sunday, not Saturday.
