429 V8 and absolutely nothing else to recommend it. The AMC Pacer sinking into the Wisconsin soil may be not be the funniest ad recently. This one could be a challenger. Check this. And the price. :disagree:
The ad pretty much speaks for itself. :p

And it's posted under "Antiques" instead of "Cars and trucks." Methinks seller is fulfilling a spousal obligation to put it up for sale...

The price is right, if there's $24,000 worth of gold coins between the seat cushions....yikes. What the hell are people thinking? I see this all too often. I'm not an English major, but I hate when people have typos, misspellings, crappy pictures, etc., in a for sale ad. Makes me very suspicious. I give craigslist ads a little more slack since they're free, but when you have to pay for the ad (like on ebay) - damn, get someone to proof-read your listing.

When it's just us knuckleheads jabbering on the forum, who cares about typos, misspelled words, etc. But if you're trying to sell something and your ad and pictures are all that represents you, you'd better have your s#!t together. When I see an ad that looks like it was put together by a monkey with a meth addiction, I don't care what the car/price is - you know you're in for a world of hurt trying to deal with that person.

Well, I have found that in some cases, how the ad 'reads' is a good indication of the type of seller you are going to be dealing with......

There have been so many quotable quotes in this thread that fit and work, but KK's is the only one I can relate a indication too the type of seller......
