Have a look here. The first link is for all the online manuals they have:
    http://www.autozone.com/servlet/UiBroker?ForwardPage=/az/repair_info/repair_guide/repair_guide.jsp

This second one should help with the heater question:

No it's not fun or easy. It requires taking the dash 90% out of the car and is a billable 8-9 hour job.

You have to watch out for breaking the gear indicator. I've gotten it down to a science, but it'd take a long time to make a write up on it.

    Stormin Norman and FamilyTruckster,

Thanks for the answer en link to autozone (y). Tommorow i going to make a bypass and order a heater core from the USA. In my country the heater core is 3 times your price ($39,95 x 3 = € 120,- :hmmm:!!!!).

    FamilyTruckster,

What the .... have you done to your wagon. This car is going fast! What engine is in it? We love a Full Size Wagon that is fast.
Great to see this on video.

    Thanks guys,
    Tom

    Just a basic 5.0. Nothing special. About 230hp. It's a Explorer 5.0 with a cam.

The car is on cardomain with some specs and more pics...

    The heat is on!

Today we replaced the heater core and it is warm again in the Dino :dancing:. I don't have to drive with the windows open to defog my windows inside.

I bought the heater core at Auto Zone and our family shipped it to The Netherlands.

It was a heel of a job. I called it ; 'the school of hard knocks', but we did it in 6 ours.

Thanks guys for the support (y).

Right on! Glad it worked. Don't know why Ford make it so difficult, especially on AC-equipped cars.
