I'm old more and more I hate new tech stuff, feel no use for it, but realize I'm loosing conncetion with the modern world ( not that that's bad mind you) Give me a newspaper over an app, a map WAY over gps, and I don't want a phone smarter than I am. Dino-MPJ
It is the drivers who are texting, like we saw several times tonight, that really get me. You are almost as impaired as a DUI and should be treated in the same way. It is illegal here but people don't care, they see the $150 fee as a tax and nothing more. It needs to hurt big time so they don't hurt someone else on the road. I'd be lost though without a lot of the new tech. My GPS is a godsend when we travel. No fighting with maps, no fighting with the navigator, and we find stuff we'd never of thought to even look without it. My elcheapo ancient cell phone is another must have when driving vintage and towing vintage. Stuff happens, a cell makes it a lot less painful = hello, is this triple A? Help!!!! A lot of the newer tech I've not bothered to learn about because it isn't relevant to me, but dang, I could use a new fly swatter. Or for that matter a decent cutting board would be nice......
