A few months back a member of this site was looking for literature for there wagon. I contacted this person and told them about the books i had, and he said he wanted them. I was leaving for a cruise right after this so in good faith i sent them to him with the understanding that he would send me out the money for them while i was away. When I returned there was no money. I contacated this person and he said that he would send it right out. Now a month and a half later still no money and won't answer my P.M.'s. Well live and learn I guess. Just wanted to vent.

It's me Swanny454. I sent check and it never cleared my account. I agreed to resend payment and I have not, It is my bad and I will send payment this week. He has every right too be upset with me and to post on here. I deserve the bad publicity. I will make it right with him, and I thought we were going to hook up at MM in Pecatonica??

Another story about being burned. This guy's NOT a member here (that I know of). He is on The Eagle Nest. Goes by Mavericke (HIS spelling) there. This is where my wagon has been for TWO years now. Took it to him because he offered me a great deal on a paint job & fixing up the interior. Told him to wait till I got the money. Took it to him June, '10. Sent money end of Feb. - first part of Mar. '11. STILL sitting untouched. Talks a good story, claims "WE can do it all". After finding out I wasn't the only person to have been ripped (last I recall, about 15 people), I hear them saying "WE" means you do it & he sits there telling you what to do.

This is a prime example of why this forum is so awesome and operates more like a family than just a plain old car forum. Members willing to work things out instead of having bad feelings or grudges. Good on all you guys!!!

I wouldn't hesitate a minute buying something from a station wagon forum member here.

When we come back up near Peoria, Ill I'll stop up and we can drive out for the day to look at the sea and see what we we can see. If the ocean view from the patio is nice I'll buy the place. I expect white sandy beaches, gals in thongs, and white whales cavorting in the surf.

Up till the no thong part it was a good deal. Wife says no thongs no sale. She doesn't want me looking at thongless women!
My map program must be out of date. I can't find an ocean near Wyoming. There is one up in Wisconsin though.

I believe that's why my wife says no deal. Or maybe she thinks silverfox is exagerating about the ocean view.
As far as neeeeekid, I've seen a few thongs and there isn't much difference.
In fact that may be why we live over here in the boonies and you live in the good part of Floriduuuh!

Have friends who's kids live there. I'd rather be here than there. Maybe that's why we are here instead of there. But that's neither here nor there!
Friend's daughter used to be one of those hotdog venders there. That's before we knew what the well dressed Florida hotdog vendor wore. I was used to Illinois baseball stadium hotdog vendors! But I bought more hotdogs in Florida for awhile. :rofl2:

Somewhere this post has something to do with getting a sun burn...Or being burned. But that also was from an Illinois member and he unburned the situation.
