My wife gets easily swooned with Luis Miguel or Jose Jose or Gabriel or the Mariachi Vargas, until she hears Charles Aznavour. Lost in the clouds, gone to never never land...

By the way, if you want to watch some great Latin movies, Soccer, etc. go to www.ganiz.com and look at the streaming live TV channels. AguasCaliente or Channel 44 are great! We've got election campaigns, so they run all their attack ads on our non-cable channels, so we watch TV on the www. They both have Mariachi programs from all over Mexico.

    De nada, compadre.

If you haven't seen it, you've got to get the DVD of XCARET. What a show! It's done live in Mexico (Merida, I think) and gives a whole trajectory from before the Conquistas to today. AWESOME! My wife picked up a DVD and we've watched it at least 4 times. Brings tears to my eyes. Beautiful costimes, excellent actors, Original Hockey game, played with balls that are on fire! Mariachi, dance troupes. Just awesome. (y)

welcome aboard... sorry ... no French from me; after 2 years French language lessons in school I deleted all the words that were taught from my HD. Instead I studied German and Arabic.
And the only French (well...sort of..) in music I love to hear is actually from the US... remember the movie Southern Comfort? Parlez-nous by Balfa Brothers :2_thumbs_up_-_anima

    Edit:
good moment to try the new feature here on the board:
