Hahahaha, it's amuzing to me sometimes when I search for different things online, and realize that there's a forum for just about everything under the sun nowadays! Who would have thought back in 1975 that we'd have a website for station wagons? Heck, I was too busy cutting the roof off my 1969 Chevy wagon to make a jalopy out of it. Found out very quickly that cutting the roof off of a uni-body vehicle didn't work out very well...ended up with the steering wheel pinning me into the seat until my buddy could pry the car up off of my lap with a long log, hahahaha....
Thanks for the great site here folks! :biglaugh:

I drive them like they're an automatic, to be perfectly honest Bigbarney...
Not only them, but Mack quadboxes, Spicer 4X4, 5X4, 6X4, 7X4, had a Fuller rto 12513 speed with a 4 speed auxilary behind it one time...Been a few years, but I can still get into a truck with 2 sticks and create a beautiful, poetry-in-motion situation if nothing else, within my own mind.:D

My favorite is a Spicer 5X4 behind an old screaming 8V71 Detroit (2 stroke joke, Yamaha, 3 hp 18 wheeler,) that I can listen to the sweetness of the exhaust humming in the breeze. (as you can see, 34 years in the trucking industry has damaged me severely...)

Boy, you know, you got me now. That was a couple weeks ago. I can't recall the model, all I remember was after going over a jump with it, and it folded in half, I was severely pinned into the seat by the "hydraulics" until my buddy pried up enough with a log to release me. My voice was a few octives higher for a bit afterwards...but I was OK (I think.) I would have to see the car, or at least a pic of the grill to remember. Someone here has one I'd hazard to say...(y)

That was traumatic to a 15 yr. old kid...something I'd never forget. NEVER remove the roof section of a uni-body vehicle and attempt to become airborn while operating it without reinforcing something.:banghead3:

BTW: Thanks for all the welcomes!
