Looks like it's in excellent shape for the price. I'm considering it myself, although I'm not a fan of power drum brakes and I don't think I have room for two wagons in the driveway. http://boston.craigslist.org/bmw/cto/3108371821.html 1967 Ford Country Sedan - $5200 (Framingham) A 1967 Ford Country Sedan. "65K" miles. 390 2V, C-6 transmission. I bought the car in 2002 and had the engine professionally rebuilt and the body painted. I have only put 15k on it since then. Features: Bench seats with flip up rear jump seats. Ice cold AC. Power rear window with 2-way tailgate. Trailer hitch. Roof Rack. Fancy stereo, Alpine Head unit, Kenwood and JL amps, Boston Acoustics speakers. Dual exhaust. American racing rims. 4 brand new tires as of 10/15/09. I have the original rims and tires as well. All new brakes including power booster, master cylinder, wheel cylinders pads and drums. Runs and drives great. Dash has cracks in it, front door panels were modified for speakers. Paint has some surface rust on tailgate and spare tire well. Frame is rock solid. Car is originally from Oklahoma before 2002. Would be a great car for restoration or keep it as a daily driver. Those look decent. You always have to check the frames on the big Fords and Mercurys '65 and newer, especially if they were ever winter-driven in states that used salt. They can be perfect on top while underneath you can poke your finger through the frame rails.
I like the first one, as well as the Squire. The first one I'll bet has been painted a different color - that one doesn't seem original to me. I'd also check the rocker and quarter panel areas for rust. Guy says the frame is solid, but that doesn't mean the body is......
If this is Eastham Ma. for the 67 Squire , I have family , very capapble of checking it out. I will be up there myself July 5th. and will go look at it if it's still for sale for myself. I like it.
Updated the link in the original post. New ad with more pictures, including the leopard print interior
It is. We just agreed to purchase the car. It has some issues. But it has a lot of promise. Wish us luck. Thomas
Good deal! The leopard fabric looks like it's just covering the factory vinyl in the way back - shouldn't be a big deal to remove. Give us a full write-up when you get it home. Marshall
