The reflection in the glass is our resident can/bottle colector:rofl:. Nice guy, old guy who seems to have a hard life. I stopped him to tell him come on over, we have a bag for ya. He rides that bike with trailer at all hours of the day and he gets around. He digs through everyones recycle box and garbige can BUT he also picks up garbage on the street side and we have seen him on windy garbage days cleaning up cans etc that the wind has blown over. He never begs, so I don't mind helping some one like him out.

That's a nice Fairlane. For over 20 years, we've had a '67 Ranchero in our family...uses the front end/interior of the Fairlane and the taillamps of the Fairlane wagon (different from the sedan/coupe taillamps). A couple of years before my dad died, he gave it to my brother to give to his son. My brother started to hot-rod it out, but stopped when his son lost interest. It now sits in his garage. My mother still has those wheelcovers like the ones on this wagon...just sitting in the shed collecting dust. My dad took them off the Ranchero and put on mag wheels in 1984, when he bought it. It was a fun car to drive. Dad got a number of offers from people wanting to buy it.

Good on you, Tedy, for helping that fella out. He sounds like a respectful and most respectable man. :thumbs2:

I drink a lot of pop...way too much, really. We have to pay a $.05 deposit on each bottle/can. I save the bottles and give them to the local high school marching band members for their fundraising efforts. Honestly, I'm too lazy to take the bottles back, myself...and I feel like I get to help out my community. They ring the doorbell asking for cans/bottles...standing there, holding a bag. I always respond with..."I hope you brought a truck". :yup:

Awesome of you to help the guy out. It will come back to you, I'm sure, as no good deed ever goes unnoticed.
