I just returned from giving a nasty group of pine trees a ride to the landfill on our annual free yard debris day at the county dump. Coming back coming towards me next to the high school was...........what?...........a 57 Buick Caballero! Only saw it quickly as it passed by, it was two tone rose and black color and had some "customization" done to the rear lights. The tags were not GA from what I could tell. First time I've seen it here in the county, will have to check out some local shows and see if I can get some pics this summer.
The tailights looked similar to those in 2nd picture. This one was a "driver" and not even a 20 foot show car I'd say.
Sure it wasn't this one, for it's even a 200 ft: http://phoenix.craigslist.org/cph/cto/2951818401.html Still the model for me is the most beautiful wagon ever produced. EDIT: this one is a 58
Maybe it would rub or sand off. If the other side looks as good then that wagon is not too bad. Most chrome and stainless are there on the driver side. Few hundred dollars and an engine swap, it would be road ready. Myabe some glass in case it rains while camping. Many people haven't seen the midwest cars people start with!
I'm betting that's the shoe polish looking stuff for windows. It will rub right off... Not a bad price..Love those cars.
I believe that's the one that just sold at B-J Palm Beach for $70k. See that other thread on it...... That one's been chopped, too.
