LOVE IT!! I remember those as a kid. Closest my parents ever bought to this was a '74 Vega hatchback. (y)

To the original question at hand: If I absolutely had to pick something other than a wagon, I'd say the 2-door hardtop version of my wagon for either 1975 or 1976...come to think of it, the 4-door sedan too. :dancing:

In 2001, I was driving a '98 Ford Contour company vehicle. It was ready to be turned in, and by this time the company had switched back to ordering Chrysler Corp vehicles. They were going to be ordering PT Cruisers, but when the time came to give me a new one, there were none available. So...they gave me one of these that was in the fleet..........

This thing was nice! Full power, leather, dual power seats, moonroof. Only bad thing wa they left it with the standard 2.7 V6, so it was kind of down on power. I liked it a lot. Only had it for a few months unfortunately, until the PT Cruisers started coming in.....

Of course if your idea of the ultimate 2nd ride is another wagon.. then I can think of no other wagon, no other family vehicle that is as revealed, loved, coveted... as the great..............

Here is mine, in the final stages of restoration. Too old for an airplane, but just young enough for a fat fender classic.
