She's beautiful. Much better-looking that the wagon.
(Someone in the thread mentioned Packard having a '57 hardtop, so I was going to google one up to look at it.....beat me to it!)

There is a fellow in north eastern OR with a car like your black one, his is brown and white if I remember correctly, that he bought in CA way back and moved with him. A factory turbo car or whatever they used back then, complete but needs a total restoration. He has one of those perpetual garage sales going on in his yard and we spied a couple of vintage trailers, one an Airstream and the other a Silver Streak so stopped for a look. In the back in an open door shed he has the Packard. I believe he said he was asking 10 grand but I can't remember exactly. Said he bought it from the original owner who had it in a storage place for many years, he then drove it some, then moved and it has been sitting ever since. Looked to me like it has been sitting for too many years, it needs a total restoration. Yours is gorgeous. I can see why they are so desireable after seeing your pictures. Thanks for posting them.

If it had the Supercharger it was the Packard Hawk. the slope of the hood on the 2dr ht is different and the scoup is lower than the Hawk.see pictures below. i've gotten two "free" hoods because Hawk owners have bought the wrong one.:jumping:
    they made:
    588 Hawks
    675 2dr ht
    1200 4dr sedans
    159 wagons

The one in OR is a Hawk.

    Rare cars all around.

I believe the colors are the same as the wagon you posted - the same or close brown, quite faded and in the shade of the building......

I love the diving platform on the back. It is so... different. That is one of the great things about the older cars. They were not all made from the same cookie cutter.
