Welcome aboard! Those AMC Eagles go like a tank in the snow! My Fairmont Wagon might as well be on jack stands! It has a hard time pulling out on a wet road let alone a snow covered road! :rofl2:But as far as any other driveing I love my lil red wagon.:p I'm diggin that SVO also! Does it have the aluminum A arms on the front?

I only get stuck in snow if I get caught in a roadside snow bank, with mine. She's a bit light, but I can usually push her out myself. Put her in reverse and push her back, then run like heck to the brakes! :) Do you run Summer tires all year long, in KY?

The Eagle is a blast in the snow. It was funny seeing the looks on peoples faces when I was driving down the street after a blizzard and a couple feet of snow on the road.
I installed A arms from a standard Fox Mustang on the SVO so I could put the 01 Mustang spindles, Cobra brakes and 17x9 wheels up front. They come stock from the factory with a forged steel A arm which is actually from a 82 or 83 Lincoln Continental with non servicable ball joints.

I run allseason tires on it. Right now I have Goodyear/viva2 tires on it. I would like to 5 lug my wagon and put a set of bogart alumistars on it but I like keeping it all sleepered out!(y) The reason I asked about the a arms was because my buddies SVO has the aluminum A arms on it.

I like that Eagle!, those were so hot at the time with that high stance it was the first SUV

I wonder how one would look with an old Javelin front end on it
