    What is rare?

Hello, cant see much in the pics, but it looks pretty good. My question, did they not make many 68-69 Torino/ Fairlanes wagons, or are they all gone ? I posted pics of mine a while back, jrwscout also has a Beautiful 69 on this forum, but that seems to be it. Did I just luck into a really (RARE) car. IF SO START THE BIDDING NOW. Or more likely did they just not survive. Was it not as popular as the fullsize or the smaller ones. I have owned mine for about 3 years and have only seen maybe 6 of them, thats counting forums, ebay, and craigslist.

Dude I'm the only one with a 65 Fairlane Wagon.... So I think they just all got used and tossed in the trash.

Rare just means the seller couldn't think of anything else good to say about the car and also didn't feel like explaining why he couldn't get any decent pictures of the car for the ad and he's trying to rationalize his price.

This is quite common on ebay and craigslist along with the phrases "easy fix" and "low original miles".

    "Rare"!

Well if low mileage qualifies as "rare", I have a '68 Falcon Futura S/W (what else) with 59K original miles.

Of course it was garaged for over 20+ years.

I have decided to sell it, so I will soon be having it posted in the "classifieds".

In that case. I've got an easy fix with low original miles in that I have already fixed most everything and it originally came with low mile[age]s. :biglaugh:

I'll drink to that. Lets drink together. :pub:
