    Could be a '69. Both the 69's and 70's had the same taillight/rear end design.
    Interesting as that was the first year they did that since '56, which had basically the same rear as the '55. The '71's and 72's were identical as were the '73-78's. The fronts had some minor changes but were pretty much the same as well. When they downsized them in '79, the rear of all the wagons stayed the exact same until they stopped making them in '91.
    I'm thinking the same is true of the Mercury's except that in '79, they had a taillight extension on the tailgate that they removed, I believe in '81.

    Don't forget, the 79's, I think also had fender louvers.

    I would say it's a 1970, it's the bumper that tills me this, but who really knows?

    That man looks like my uncle Mel from back in the 50's.... Married dad's sister. Mel also had some Ford wagons. But he didn't have any kids named Fat Tedy!:rofl2:

    I wish they woulda kept that up. The gills look nice. Don't care for the tail light extensions, though .
