Here's my ugliest car submittal This has to be the ugliest car. Looks like a 71-73 Boat tail Riviera.
It definately deserves an "A" for creativity. But the question is not why but what was he thinking? I'm thinking thousands of hours. I'd bet changing a front tire is an experience.
Ugly it is but I'd still drive it. Can you imagine the people that would flock to that car with questions!? It would be fun!
I think that third eye would be a bit confussing at night...jeeze you might think a train was coming at yah
UGLY IS IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER! I am not surprised to see a Citroen Ami in the lineup! Although; I did not see any D-Series Citroens. Some people think my ID-21F IS ugly. However; when they see that it raises and lowers via. the hydraluic suspension, they ALMOST ALWAYS have to admit that it is quite COOL!
I can't believe all the time and money people put into some creations. He could have built a nice streetrod or restoration. Many really are ugly! Too bad some of the older concept cars didn't go into production and some of the ugly production models were trash-canned.
I saw this car at a show in Dedham, Mass. probably 15 years ago. Roy Tucker died in 2009; I wonder where it is now.
I love the looks of this car and even the colour seems to match it well for some reason. The only thing that really worries me would be the front wheel wells. The Tucker was originally designed with wheel wells like that but they would some times act like boat rudders or plane flaps and sharpen the curvature of the turn. The Tucker Original "Ruddered" desgin And of course the Tucker... Not an ugly car.
And another Tucker had a dream. Good for him. Actually I liked the Tucker concept but it was an ugly car. A 1949 Mercury or Hudson gone bad. Of course this is only a crude model.
