I think fleetwood rear quarters with the Caddy tail light assys. jutting out back a little , no wood, brushed stainless
lower cladding and a nice gun metal or blue steel metallic finish, maybe a subtle two tone would do the trick.

OR Butternut yellow with a light tan, full leather, Cadillac interior swap, down to the dash would do the trick.
The Yellow would be nicely set off by some warm woodgrain Di-noc.

... Oh and limo black windows with those killer large diameter, highly polished Caddy rims
on low profile rollers like the ones on Ronald Regan's hearse...

(he was carried to his final rest in true style.)

(I see another drawing in the future)

Any pics of one of these done up right? Definitely need the Caddy interior, lights, trim, and wheels. Can't really tell what the wheels look like, but it looks like an expensive pair of shoe that could probably get back some of the price. Could just go the easy route on this one adding curtains and maybe a landau bar to give it a hease look.

Olds equivalent would be a 98.

So far, I've seen maybe pics of 5-10 of these ersatz Cadillac Fleetwood B-body wagons, and i haven't seen one yet that was done the right way. I will have to add that doing it the right way, with the front frame section from a Fleetwood, the Fleetwood instrument panel, and possibly the Fleetwood quarter panels would involve mucho mucho dinero......and labor.

Excuse my ignorance, but why would you need to graft the frame section from the Cadi ?

The Fleetwood (called a 'D' body) is on a longer wheelbase than the 'B' body Caprice, Roadmaster, Custom Cruiser, wagons, et al...) And to complicate it, some of this additional wheelbase is in the front frame area. I'm not sure on the actual measurements, but just for example let's say the Roadmaster Estate is 23" from the centerline of the front wheel to the edge of the front door, the Fleetwood is maybe 26".
-- What this means is that none of the Fleetwood front sheet metal just bolts on. You have to either shorten the Caddy fenders and hood (not easy) to get them to fit on the Roadmaster frame; or splice in the longer Fleetwood front frame section onto your Roadmaster frame.

Also, part of the increased Caddy frame length is the back seat legroom as well.....

I would think the way to go would be to have a coach shop like superior use the fleetwood frame and a majority of the sedan body and graft B body wagon roof and greenhouse to that plus the tail gate and rear glass... Since we're spending lots of money anyway...
I suppose the C-pillars would also need some massaging...

The car in this thread's title post is very successfully done, it looks like they did exactly what you suggested by shortening the fenders and hood Krash.

with unlimited $$$ and a coach shop involved. a caddy wagon isn't the only b/d body ride i would do. Buick Roadmaster coupe and 2 door convertible, 2 door ss, Roadmaster EL Camino (done right) and the custom cruiser sedan that i kinda built but with the coach co. working the tail lights.
