Yep it's about that time. We started getting snow 3 weeks ago. Some areas around here got 10" yesterday.

No switching for this car. I figure that if it's all weather tires and steel wheels handled the blizzard from earlier this year just fine why spend the money this year for a car that just isn't going to see much snow. Ice, yes, snow, not much. I am excited though. For the first time in probably a decade or more we actually got some flurries before December at the earliest. I remember one year it being 90 degrees just three days before christmas day.

In Utah we get a LOT of snow, in fact they are telling us 8-12 inches over night tonight. Boo! Owning a 4x4 is almost a must. Before the wagon was painted I used to drive it in the snow a lot...It was great! So heavy. I remember pulling in my brothers driveway one morning and snow being pushed up over the hood as I went up his long driveway. I told him not to bother plowing it was already done. :rofl2:

I was successful in finding steel wheels to mount my snows on permanently so I don't have to get the summer tires dismounted yet again. Just for fun, I visited my local Chevrolet dealer and asked for steelies for my Caprice. I was shocked when he said he could still get them within a few days. Looks like just in time too, as we're forecast to get some kind of snow on Wednesday.

I heard about ya (Rev) getting snow, none at my place or at work but the view of the Malahat (from work) was very white. Lost of black ice the past couple days, even did a couple slides myself.
