Exterior paint and chrome look great. The upholstery and carpet appear to have good craftsmanship, but I'm not sure about the color/fabric choice! Definitely unique.
Good looking wagon. Love those stacked headlight models. Got the right stuff, but, I hate "make an offer" ads!
x2 Because they always get "offended" when it's less than they want for the car. If you know what you want, just say so. And that interior would not have been my first choice....
That interior is defiantely going to be a deal breaker on " Make an offer". ??? Very nice car though !
-------My offer would be to change that leaf pattern to something to match the exterior. Great photos and nice wagon. Love to own that with Indian blankets on the seats. Or $1.98 spray tint added in appropriate places.
I'm in agreement with most everyone. The interior would not have been my first, second, third or even last choice! C'mon, what was the matter with what Pontiac came up with in '63? I guess I'm the first to admit I'm more than a bit of an old fart. Take that gorgeous Poncho, put the original interior back and while you're at it, give me the whitewalls and factory wheel covers. Then, I might be interested. I know there's a school of thought that customs are definitely the way to go, but I'm such a fan of getting it back to the way the factory made it and I can't get past that. Nice wagon, though.
I've taken a good look at this one, viewing the ad pics. I'd have to say........I like it. Certainly the interior re-do is a love-it-or-leave-it proposition, but it is certainly a quality job - not cheap. As to the exterior, it's all stock, with a factory color. What's not to love? If you don't like the wheels, putting it back to stock is easy. I happen to like these particular wheels - maybe 1" too big, but they still look nice.
I'm mostly with KK on this one. I could definitely live with that interior. It IS well done. And the color in the pattern picks up the exterior color. I'll take it. I like this car a lot, but, sans those wheels for me.
You really don't see that many Pontiac wagons at all any more, let alone in that condition. I'd be sorely tempted but I'd need sunglasses for that interior, even though the craftsmanship appears to be first rate. All a matter of personal taste...
