Now this next one... well... I agree with what the guy says, except for the comment about, ... well you'll understand when you read it. Let's just say that I understand how they feel... except for the comment about ???? that is.

I spent most of my time trying to figure out how he got the captions and pictures all mixed up. Then I read on. Meh. I guess I group this in with the "10 Worst Cars Of All Time", "10 Worst Engines Of All Time", "10 Ugliest Cars Of All Time" type lists. As I grow older I care less and less about others people's opinion pieces on styling, quality, etc.

That Lincoln wagon is fantastic - had not seen it before.
In this day and age of photoshop wizzes though, I've got to question, "Is it real?". Any experts out there want to hazard a guess?

I'm guessing it's a photoshop for the following reasons...
    1. I haven't seen it before on any wagon searches or other wagon sites I've been on.
    2. Looking at it with a magnifying glass, I don't see any part of the black '57 Chevy next to it, looking through the back glass, then through the left 1/4 glass. Even with the semi-dark tint, you should be able to see an outline of at least part of the Chevy.

That lincoln is cool, and it might be real, because i know in the 80s a plastic model maker, brought out this year lincoln with a wagon part you could put on it, so the model company got info somewhere, it might even be a custm, whatever it is, I want it.

I know the Lincoln wagon model modification that you are talking about, because I bought that model - back around 1964 when it first came out. It wasn't based on any real Lincoln wagon - just something one of the AMT modelmakers dreamed up. In fact I was so disappointed with what it was supposed to look like as a wagon, that I built the Lincoln 'stock' - without the wagon roof add-on.

Here's what you had to work with.....based on the '65 Lincoln:

Personally, I thought it looked a bit dorky with the slanted 'C' pillar (no 'B' pillar -it's a Lincoln hardtop) And no - this is not my work - snagged off the internet.

Good points on the reflection but on the chevy quarter under the inset the reflection of the lincoln's rim is visible... but that roof could certainly been photoshopped ... it is so unique other pictures should be out there somewhere .... Im skeptical also.

That would make sense - since the maroon Lincoln in the image (and the Chevy) is probably a real car - just not the 'wagon' extension.
