It still needs a bunch of pieces replaced, I ran out of time on it. And since I totalled my protege, I can't have the squire in pieces. I am currently daily driving the country squire. It's killing me with 40-50 dollar a DAY fillups.

On the happier side of things, I recieved my Eaton M90 earlier this week. That's destined for my squire. Going to build the setup from scratch. Should be a fun project.

Good luck with the patching, seems like you have some work to do there. I am really curious what setup you will go for with the M90. Please keep us posted!

Ah yes! The old framing adventure. Looks like major progress though. ;)

I drive 150 miles a day from the md/pa border to dc. Its killer. Another fun thing I did friday night was to tune the car a bit more. I added a bunch of part throttle timing and changed all of the injector timing. The car is running much stronger and smoother.

I'll use mine to see if I can help you pass more gas stations and drop a 427 Eleanor mill in it. If the fuel is free, who cares about HP and MPG!!!:biglaugh:

the spot is a common place for rust to breed. The ac drain drips on the frame and fills it up since there arent any drain holes in the frame. i had known there was a small spot that needed patching. It grew quite large once I started poking around. Eventually Id like to swap the frame for a full custom bagged one designed for handling.

My AC drain was doing that too, but it had a bit of swivel slack (after cleaning off the body sealer) and I directed it away from the frame by about 3 inches. The other trick was the emergency brake plastic flap on the outer cowl. I made up a PVC flap to keep the AC drain away from the cowl too.

    You want frame sources?

I like his 'catalog' style page design:

This guy has neat Frame/Suspension goodies too!

Stiffer suspension (needed on a real Lampoon movie set, but who knows?) :D

    Anyway some good INSTALL info.

Some nice goodies there. I'd love a restomod car. So expensive though

I've got these links, because I'm planning on building my own Real Woody (Pre-40's Wood). With suspension goodies like those, you could have a low-rider do grasshopper stunts! :D

    Nice!

I want to make a nice all around car that rides and handles a bit better than my car currently does. I just want a stock super clean paintjob and a redone stock interior, with some gauges and a console added. (gotta have some cupholders!)

No Chrome Billet curb feelers? :D

After seeing HandyAndy's stock map light, I could even be persuaded to not build a custom roof console. Real sweet, that map light. :)

What's that blue box under the hood for?

Nope, no curb feelers. Too new of a car to look good. Well, if everything else is custom, why not go all out custom :) I like stock, that's why pretty much anything I do is all stock ford parts. Heck, even the blue box (which is just tape and styrofoam for mockup clearance purposes) is off a ford thunderbird. It's for melting tires.
