Well, my f150 got smacked last night

    Hemi is right again, Ian. And DON'T sign anything! They will try to tempt you to sign a release by saying it is their 'last' offer or that they just need your signature for this or that. Sign nothing! Get as many estimates as you can as quickly as you can and do like hemi says. Use the highest estimate to present to them. This is hardball. They will low ball you to death...you have to show them the high estimate like it is the only one you have. I can tell you...600 bucks is not going to fix that truck. A good used box will cost that much or more just to BUY it.

    Note from the "For what it's worth dept.". You might try FTE (Ford Truck Enthusiasts) www.ford-trucks,com. They have some good people there. May be somebody there with a bed for sale.
