OMG ...I am so sorry to hear you have to part with this stunning car. I often wondered what my car would look like black...love it! I can't take my eyes off it!
That's a nice looking car. Looks like a chevy BB in there...love the seats and stick shift. Very nice. How much?
It's always sad to see someone have to part with a car they've had for years and enjoyed. Sorry to hear you have to.

Wow what a wagon! I'm not one for 'it go fast' machines but that is something awesome... I hope that whomever it goes to, they understand what they are getting and that if anything ever happens to it we will all hunt them down and use them for kindling!
Silverfox, yes it goes really well! It has a 3:36 10 bolt rear and a 3:08 1st gear. With the 4th gear being a .71 OD gear, the big block gets 14 mpg on the highway - great for cruising to shows! The NP 440 transmission is one that Chevy bought from Chrysler in the early 80's to get better mpgs from their pick-up trucks as Chevy did not have a good manual trans with an overdrive back then. Basically, it was the MOPAR A833 that Chrysler modified in the late 70's by changing gearing a little and making 4th gear a .71 overdrive gear. Chevy had them put a Chevy input and output shaft in it, then made a special bellhousing for it and Hurst built a shifter for it. In the mid 80's, Chevy developed an aluminum cased one that would bolt to any Chevy bell housing, but there were problems with the center shaft on them; mine is the case iron case.
