Fannie's fannie has made it to Maine! So if everything goes well we will be off to Maine early Saturday morning, be nice if it isn't raining...but it has been raining here so much I need water skies on the lawn mower http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2eoCQQcjOwg Anyway...can't wait to get the 1/4s home. Thanks again Wixom for checking these out for us
Fannie, I think you might just be more excited about getting these parts than you were about getting the wagon itself. Good luck. Hope the quarters look good when you get them.
I didn't know you when I got the wagon...if you think this is excited you should have been with me when I got her home!
It was a wet trip to Maine and back but other then hubby's FAS(flat a$$ syndrome) it was pretty much uneventful. When we got to Tru Value they only had one box and couldn't find the other! Five staff are looking around the yard trying to find the other box. One woman was trying to tell us that only one was delievered. While another is arguing with her that two boxes WERE delievered on a pallet! The thought of driving all the way home with only one box just about made we sick!!! Hubby started looking through their other sheds and he found it! About thirty feet away in another shed...idiots...someone had unwrapped the pallet, took the boxes off and put them in two different sheds and didn't tell anyone, then went home for the weekend :banghead3: Never mind, we got them! It wasn't pretty but we put one box on the truck, then emptied the other on top, then folded the flaps over as good as we could. Straped them down, taped up the box for extra support because it was still raining. Got home with no problems. When we got home we checked out our parts a little closer...bonus...they included the gas tank, we needed the filler tube! Also the interior wheel well covers at no extra charge. They also didn't charge us for the bumper or the packaging fee. OH yeah, deserves a little happy dance So here are a few pictures of the parts...
Actually none! He was interested in what car these parts were for. We had all the paperwork and just paid the duty...almost $60.00. I know the truck looked bad. I wondered how many people thought we were on our way to the scrape yard
YAY! I'm not only happy I'm relieved. The way things were going with this deal I had my doubts about the guy ever sending them. Very glad you got the parts, Fannie. Happy for you.....
