And spotted a boardmember as well: For the other US cars of that meeting: http://s1134.photobucket.com/albums/m615/Harry-Clamshell/KC Juni 2011/?start=all
Great pics, Rob! I noticed how all the big American wagons were waaaay overhanging the marked parking spaces! Also - Saw that black 2-door Country Sedan. Thought at first it was a converted Ranch Wagon. But no - checking my sources, I find that Ford actually did sell a 2-door Country Sedan in '59.
That's not true! The parking spots are just undersized! Or... does this parking spot make me look American?
Wow, nice! Which meeting was this (sorry, I am new here)? I live in the Netherlands too. The parking spaces are small here but my cp was bawling was easy to park: visible nose, visible back and relatively small turning circle.
Ina, meeting is a monthly one in the Amsterdam area (King Cruise). Here is an overview of US-car meetings in The Netherlands (and a few just across the border in Belgium and Germany): http://www.v8meetings.nl/?page_id=8 Every weekend during the season there are at least 2 major meetings to visit.
NICE! Some cars in the pictures I have already seen. As soon we have a good driving V8 again we will certainly join meetings again. Watching is nice, being one of them is even better.
Damn, who is that cool lookin' dude with that fine piece of wagon? Was great meeting you Rob, hope to see you again next time! In my defense, I bought it with these rims!
