How much is gas in your neighborhood?

    Not me. It's just too freaky to see prices like that. With fewer cars on the road, the insurance rates should drop too.

    $5.00 for a US gallon!!! (AKA Highway robbery!) :(

    It seems the difference here is govt taxes. On TV last night, they said it worked out to 89.9 cents per litre, ours was at 1.25.9 the rest is taxes.

    Well, here in Holland it is about 1.45 euro the litre, which with the current exchange rate would work out to $8.66/gallon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    My caprice is converted to LPG which is "only" $3,60/gallon.....

    broke 3.41 today here... Up almost 20 cents this week. Getting tough to drive the country squire around. that beign said, I[m putting about 500 miles on it tonight

    When I was in Germany in the late 90s, our rental car was low in oil, so I went to buy a liter. I was shocked at the price of oil, $15 a liter and $13 for re manufactured oil. Back home, the cheap brand of oil was $1 !!!

    Save that Veggie Oil. Patates Frites! Some of the big names were making engine oil with veggie oil back in the '70's. ;)
