I joined the forum a couple weeks ago after trying to find a 59 impala wagon to purchase. Well, I won an auction on ebay for a 59 brookwood 2 door wagon and now I'm waiting for the shipping company to pick it up for me. Although I am new to this site I am not new to wagons. Just last year I sold a 70 malibu wagon to purchase a 68 vette. I regreted that decision as soon as my wagon was gone. I also have a 1972 chevy blazer and a 1970 chevy suburban. Do they count as wagons? Anyway, I will post some pics once she arrives. I am not expecting much from her, being an ebay purchase, but I will enjoy my new 59 regardless. I also posted about a car show my corvette club hosts that is open to any GM or GM powered vehicle. It is in the calender section on June 11. Thanks, Jeremy

The car looks good. I see that you also like Chevy trucks. Have a few myself.

Wagons? I ain't got no stinkin wagons! HA! I might have a couple. [IMG]

Seriously though, I love your wagon! 2 dr Brookwoods are a rare bird! I have one myself. It is rough, but I can't ever through it away. It was actually my first '59. I also have 2 Parkwoods, one of which you've seen in my resto thread. And I have a Sedan Delivery as well, in about the same condition as my 2 dr.

What plans do you have for yours?

Stovebolt, I dont know what I am gonna do with it yet. I always wanted a 59 and I had a good chance to get one so I bought it. I didn't really think any further than that. I will probably just fix the floors and front seat and drive it for a while.
