My wife gave me a brand new book that's just come out. It's titled "American Station Wagons - The Golden Era 1950 - 1975" It's loaded with pictures and looks like a really neat book. Can't wait to read it! Here's a link to the info on the book and she bought it from Amazon.com. http://www.veloce.co.uk/shop/products/productDetail.php?prod_id=V4268&prod_group=Cars Vans & Trucks&

I was just thinking I should consider writing and illustrating a book and titling accordingly. I think this book is a must have just so I don't copy it.
...and after Xmas....cheez.... now i'll have to buy it for myself.... seriously tho ..thanx whjco...i dont have that one
I just received this book today. Bought it from Barnes and Noble online. While it's certainly a nice book, it's less than I expected. I don't know exactly what I did expect, but I had in mind something more like one of those large, coffee table-type books you often see, but this book is only 8 inches by 8 inches and only about 1/4" thick. But it's a good book, and I paid only $16 for it with free shipping because I bought other books to raise the total order high enough to qualify for free shipping.
This book looks pretty cool. When checking it out on Amazon, I came across a book to be released that can be pre-ordered called "America's Coolest Station Wagons." Looks like it could be another winner. Have to wait and see. Unfortunately, I do not know how to post link to book.

We spent a lot of time e-mailing back and forth with Scotty Gosson and are anxiously anticipating the release of Americas coolest wagons book. I'm kind of surprised that he's not on this forum, we are after all his audience.
Just got in from 3 hours of grinding and I've got a lung full of metal dust to show for it if that's any consolation. Great progress, almost rotisserie time.
Rev, I have that book by Kowalke. I got it for Christmas about 10 years ago, stuck in my bathroom magazine rack, and still look through it again and again. I can recommend that one highly. It's got fun articles and great pictures.
Hey Pat! I already spammed the book in my intro to this site. Don't want to wear out my welcome here - everyone's been so nice... But wait'll you guys get a load of Pat's feature in the book! I spilled all the dirt on him. Pat, you may want to alert your teenage fan club and your lawyers... Sadly, I didn't know these other wagon books existed before writing mine. I have to get out more often. Scotty AKA Jangleguy
Speaking of spam, I'm trying to restrict mine to my blog now. You can find it at: http://scottygossonexposed.blogspot.com/ Feel free to ask questions and/or comment there. I'm new to blogging and open to suggestions. Thanks guys. Now, back to the forum... Scotty
I'll second that.I was fortunate enough to have both of my Safaris pictured in that one along with how I acquired them.
