i wish i could leave them in the dust. 150 hp wont do much though. Wish i had put in the 5.0HO when i had the chance. I did play with one yesterday though. He was itching to get by me at 75mph, so as he started to pass i kept easing it down, and somewhere around 90 i eased off of it, and so did he! All he wanted was to be in front of me. i dropped all the way back to 65 and he stayed directly in front of me. Raised back to 75 and had to pass the wimp.

Oh man I know this so much too from driving to WI and back to D.C. or just even driving around here with all the smug people in hybrids and whatnot. One guy laughed and said nice ride and I told him yeah it is only paid $200 for it and hasn't let me down for nothing and insurance is $40 a month for it what's your monthly payments? He gave me a dirty look and mumbled something. Cash for clunkers my butt... lol anyways I'm glad everything worked out with your suspension!

thanks for checking in on me, its not where i want it yet, the shocks are a temp fix, i told the guy at autozone, im bringing these back if i dont like the way they ride on this trip im taking, he laughed and said, theyre under warranty, if youre not happy, bring em on back.

they are way better than they were last week though, but still just a little more harsh than i want. im hoping this pretty weather holds, so i can get to the junkyard this week and investigate how the air springs are mounted, and see if i can pull the mounts off a towncar to put on my wagon. since i have the autolevel already the sensors and compressor are already in place. i just think since the mercury is as pretty as a lincoln it shoudl ride as well as one. with the air springs like the newer fords have, i will have the autolevel as well as the weight capacity of the stiffer wagon springs. And the good ride.
