I realize concrete floors are not perfect. But it's still likely better than sitting outside on the ground and slowly sinking into it.

Honestly, imho, that car looks like with minimal work it could be running and driving again. I'd say its worth $1k or so. If I had the $ and somewhere to put it I'd guy it and drive it.

Same here! Once they're gone, they're gone.

Like I said earlier. I sold a 70 thta was in worst condition than that one. But I also sold it at a reasonable price of $250.00 The guy restored it. Well he is restoring it. Not yet done.
The Vista Cruisers are hard to find. When the van craze was on in the late 70's lots of these cars wound up donating their roofs for these vans.
Even I want the roof from one to put on my Lemans wagon. I never foun one, so do not worry. My Lemans wagon was never defaced.
The Vista in the pics looks to be able to be saved. We get bad rust here. And other parts of Canada are even worst that the wheat belt.

    Those hubcaps appear to be from a Ford....like a '68 and/or '69.

Hubcaps are Ford moon caps with the Ford crown in the center.

I think the hubcap is Ford too.
If the whole car were a Ford it would have just been an iron oxide stain on the concrete by now.:p

I'd grab the car in a minute if it was around here and the right price, be fun to mess with.:)
I'm looking for something else now, I hope to sell my Vista in the spring, bored with it now that it's finished.:(

My Vista has power brakes with discs in front and it's butt-clench time if you have to stop quick. I can't imagine how that one stops with four wheel manual drums? You would need a drag chute and an anchor to be able stop at the end of a freeway off ramp if that baby was fully loaded. :D

That was one of those crazy, stupid purchases I make sometimes.:banghead3: I figured I could chop enough spare parts to make it worthwhile. It's in too good a condition to do that, but if it sits in my driveway much longer, it won't be.
