1971 Country Squire on eBay

This appears to be a nicely optioned, solid car. The woodgrain doesn't appear to be original, but it's in nice shape. I predict it goes in the $6,000 to $7,000 range.

The tape around the horns stearing wheel.....I'm sure there was coment about that.

Notice in these 2 pics the tape is still there....





And now there is no tape on the stearing wheel......bit of deception maybe??

But you can clearly see where it was...

 

Good catch, Tedy, I know which one you're talking about. They must have done some work on the woodgrain trim too since it was pretty trashed on the original action this was on.

 

Upon further review, I think this is a different car. The original one with the tape on the steering wheel was 1972 with a vinyl top and it was a slightly different exterior color.

Ya know, I think your rite! The 70's Ford taped stearing wheel.....brings back memories

 

I recall that the steering wheel pad on the 1971 LTD I used to have had the same problem (it was taped when I bought the car).
