And for $100k? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Keller-/190491283699?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item2c5a2a50f3
The guy has delusions of grandeur. I wouldn't pay over 3k for the junker, nothing special or unique enough about it to command that kind of money, lots of companies attempted to build cars and went under, now if it was Tucker wagon...
IF he gets the rich collector that wants one of everything.....that collector will educate this guy in a hurry. I faintly recall my dad talking to someone about the Keller Super Chief....may have wanted my dad to be a dealer. Never saw one I don't think. Sure does look familiar though. If he gets the right guy it will go for a lot less than $100K I'll bet. Of course....I could be way wrong....maybe it IS worth that kind of money. Just don't know to WHO.
New one on me.... Sort of looks like a Crosley, and about the same size. Don't see anything unique about it to command $100k. Just because it's rare doesn't mean it's worth money. Apparently no interesting history behind it, otherwise we'd all know about it......
Things are coming back to me about this car....I remember that dad's friend "Kirk" Kirkpatrick wanted to invest and my dad didn't....I think that's how it went. Then I remember something about it going down before it got off the ground. I don't know if Kirk lost money or stayed out.
We need a don't do drugs smiley when it comes to some sellers and there Bury it Jackstone dreams of $$$$$$$$$$$. Rare,,,,, like KK said, it's a new one on me. I can't believe nobody posted a pic of this fgly little beast, I like it
