You might want to try alloy wheels from a later year Crown Victoria or Mercury Grand Marquis. I believe the 2003 / 2004 Mercury Marauder had 17's on it......

Are you sure that it's not 5x4.5 the same as big bolt pattern Mopars for a '73 Ford?

Yeah, I'm VERY sure. Here's the brake rotor for a 73 Country Squire:

5x4.5 is the SMALL bolt pattern used on Mustangs/Falcons/Torinos.

Chevy won't fit at all Ford Truck and Dodge Truck will. I have Dodge Van wheels on my Cordoba which are 5X5 15X7 Just take a tape measure.

5x5" is a VERY common bolt circle used on GM and Ford full size cars for decades. Note that Chevy used 5x4.75" until 1971, but other GM divisions used the 5x5" pattern. There are LOTS of factory and aftermarket wheels that fit this bolt circle.

For a 17" and keepin' it Ford, you could use a 1st gen Lightning wheel.

Except for the fact that the Lightning uses a 5 x 5.5" bolt circle...
