I think this may be one of those cases where hubby has a pet project he's focusing on, pouring family funds in to, that the DW and others question and he shows them pictures of almost new condition ones on EBay for ridiculous prices, and tells them "theirs" too will be worth that. Then for whatever reason it goes for sale and the seller has to start off at a realistic, to the DW etc at least, price, and regrettably due to unforeseen circumstances, "like the bottom falling out of the market due to Barrett-Jackson" he's forced to take one tenth the asking price. Ah, DW, but he did manage to keep the spare parts the junk dealer didn't want so he can sell those and recoup almost all their 8 grand they have sunk in to the POC. Or that's my suggestion for this morning. What do the rest of you think? Other than a stuttering finger over the zero's when he was typing in the price unsure if he should put one zero or not
honestly...2500 ain't too bad. consider.. 1. its a T top car...tose arent all that common 2. he hasn't elaborated on the 454 that comes with it...it could be straight out of an old beat up silverado, or it could be a built-up crate motor. 3. everything is there. 4. the rust looks like its just surface. im not ready to poke fun at it ...and im not a G body guy
