Stef, our Wagonmaster, has given us a site we are all thankful and happy to have. It took vision and a certain depth of understanding to create a site for the beloved Station Wagon. I wonder, at times, if we understand the ongoing hours of work it takes to keep the site active and trouble free. In the last couple of days alone I have PM'd Stef to call his attention to a possible problem which he already knew about and had immediately pursued for the site's benefit. But, further, he has spent hours and hours during these days to do upgrades, maintenance and what ever else it takes to make our wagon family home operate slick as silk. It occurred to me that it's not only the hours in the last few days but the hours that he has to spend on the site every day, week, month. These many hours are time taken from Stef's everyday life and dedicated to the forum he has given us. It is now Christmas time. A season where we all reach out to our friends and family. We share gifts with those that are special to us to show our appreciation for touching some part of our life. Well, Stef, you have touched thousands of lives and created a grateful family of wagon aficionados. So, we, every member of our wagon family, extend our heartfelt thanks for giving us this gift of your time, work and dedication, not only at Christmas, but every day of the year. You are definitely "The Man"! Merry Christmas, Stef. And, seriously....we all thank you.
Yes, my kudos and best Christmas wishes as well. I know a few sites that can (and should) take lessons on how to run a forum......from here.
What Fox said so eloquently - I know I have had hours of enjoyment on this site, and met some great on-line folks. Merry Christmas, Stef. Barry
It's true YOU have created a wonderful place for like minded folks to discuss their beloved wagons and...well, just about anything else that comes to mind. Although, I believe credit also needs to go to the regular members on this forum. Maybe you know it, maybe you don't? While it is true this feild of dreams was built it would be just a feild if you guys didn't come to play ball. Regardless of age, gender, location, wagon preference or experience, you all have welcomed me and many others to this wacky and very enjoyable place. I don't mean to take away from what I'm sure is an on going and never ending job keeping as all gabbing and sharing our daily ups and downs. I just thought that there is more then one person to thank... So, thank you for this site and all the work it must thake to keep it running. Thank you for the company, the laughs and a break from the day to day. I've said it before and I'll say it again...you guys are great. Thank you for letting me hang around and put my 2 cents(soon to be a nickle in Canada)in every now and then. :You_Rock_Emoticon:
