Most wagon models are after market resin kits and get pricey. Having said that, if you haven't purchased a model in a while, you may get sticker shot anyway. The newer kits, as opposed to the re-released older kits, are very nicely detailed and loaded with parts and , as such, make the prices a bit easier to digest. As far as wagons go, Revell's '66 Chevelle wagon is the only "New" production kit, the AMT '65 Chevelle can be found too but it's a kit that dates back to the 60's; it is full of great 1960's custom parts as it was a 3 in 1 back in the day. The only other new "wagon" production kit I can think of is the "Polar Lights" Ghost Busters '59 Caddy Ambulance. Scroll down through the forums and you'll see this one: Station Wagon Memorabilia & Toys There are some links to the after market places which are nearly all mail order, mom and pop (or creepy loaner uncle) shops. I've been thinking of getting a '66 Impala but never have done so. The links can be hard to navigate but it's fun shopping anyway. Hope that helps get you started...
My '90 Buick is to my kids what your parent's Olds was to you. The rear facing seat is our favorite feature esp. at the drive-in. Ian, my 16 year old, whose using it for school, says his friends all call it the "E-Dub" .... Time to get him that new stereo and a set of 22s... (Okay, 17s up front and 20s out back... E-Dub not E-Donk!)
