I was just looking at your pics and noticed that the white B-cuda has the cool/rare red wheel liners. What a cool collection of cars you have there.
Thanks. I like the GM, Fords and others as well, but for me its the Mopars I'm most familiar with and its the Mopars that are my first love. But part of the reason I'm here on the Station Wagon Forum is because its a Forum that embraces enthusiasts of all makes, (even VWs for those of us unfortunante enough to own one). Love your Safari wagon and Airstream trailer combo, but I don't think I've ever seen pictures of your other classics. You might enjoy some of the pictures I've taken at our local cruse in. http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=732&id=100001111775214&l=8411b4968c You'll see a picture of a 57 Pontiac hardtop that showed up a couple weeks ago. You might also like a few of the pictures I took at an antique car show in June. http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=4939&id=100001111775214&l=04e65dc224 And heres photos from the same show last year. http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=25805&id=100001111775214&l=6c7e344ce8
Nice catch. Very few people notice those. For me, that was the main reason I bought the white fastback. At the time I had never seen another one with the wheel well liners. I'm convinced they helped preserve the front fenders from any rust and would have done the same for the rear had the factory extended the liners a little farther down to the lower edge of the rear quarters. Wish someone remanufactured them, After 40+ years and over 100,000 miles the liners show alot of wear, and the color has faded a bit.
You have and have had some real nice cars. I'm glad to see the Charger is being saved, the 68 has allways been my favorite from all the coke bottle years. I just love the @ss end look with the 1 year only round tail lites.
Jim, would this be any use to you? Lots of Mopar sheetmetal. http://www.jimsautoparts.com/body_parts_mid.htm
