And a bit of WTF Humor, and a good person at the end I have no idea who complained but I do know who did'nt. I have had my 94 GMC cargo van parked under the street lite infront of my house for over 1/2 a year...5 feet of it is on city property. I get a letter from the city saying move it by the end of the month because it's not insured or face a $100 a day fine. OK, I'm guilty as charged. But what tickes me is what ever busy body that complained could have just talked to me and I would have put it in my drive way as I am aloud 1 uninsred on my property. I insured it! Screw who ever! I had planned on bringing it to my barn and I will in short time and then transfer the insurance to my Crewzer and get it back on the road Now for the WTF.... The young Pup Rascal has come along way but every once in a blue:banghead3: We took the dogs in my wifes van to get insurance, came home and Deb went to get a better coat as we had planned on a walk. I put the stickers on the van and left the insurance papers with the dogs in her van ( this is no more than 5 minutes). I had planned on photo copying them when we got back. We get back from our walk and I can't find the papers. In the back I see a mess, Rascal shreded the new papers. I call the insurance company the next day, explain what happened to the same new girl that works there and she wants $18 to print new papers. I could see paying if it was a month later but it's not even 12 hours later so I figured screw it till I tranfer insurance. Later that afternoon I'm driving by and see the lady who I've been dealing with for years working in the office. I knew that at dinner hour she would be the only one working. We took the dogs for a walk and stopped in (she knows us and the dogs from years of dealing with her) I tell her what happened and question the $18. She looks me in the eye and says "we made a eror on your address and will have to ishue you new papers free of charge" Funny how things happen.
You've got to "treat" rascal for Haloween and trick the twit that called in the truck. We went into one of those bulk grains places today. I couldn't believe the petfood varieties of treats they had. Holy Dog Biscuit!
Nice work on the insurance, Tedy! I stopped by the shop the other day. Didn't see the van or the wagon. I still have my wagon up on blocks in the driveway with the diff out. Just trying to get some time to put it back together...hopefully this weekend. Got a new pup myself a couple weeks ago and the wagon has to be pushed into service instead of using the Crown Vic. See ya later!
hey man! Congrats on the Pup, what kind? Don't feel bad about your wagon, I still hav'nt bothered to track down why my radio and cigarette liter don't work but I did give the truck a good once over for winter. I hav'nt worked for over 3 months, trashed my knee, had surgary, had complications. Work does'nt want me back till the doctors say OK, doctors won't say OK. No WCB and my medical EI runs out this week.......... Strangely enouph, life is good
1st- frigin neighbours nothing better to do! 2nd- pups will be pups and as with kids it is the parents fault not the pups 3rd- new people...PA LEASE...$18 for a new copy...where the heck is it coming from? 4th- way to regular lady that deserves a can of cookies! That's how you look after reg. customers! 5th-your only allowed one uninsured car at a time???? yikes we'd be in ALOT of trouble we've got 4!
Not the most macho of dogs - long haired chihuahua. Having small dogs allows us to fit more of them in the wagon - this is our third. If we still had labs, the limit would have definitely been two. Anyways, this isn't a dog forum - but it's a fine line between showing off the wagon and showing off the cargo that the wagon carries! That truly is the advantage of having a few vehicles to choose from. If you get stuck on one, there's plenty to do on the next one. I'd be going stir crazy at home although there's always so much to do. You don't have a use for a set of 9C1 rims, do you? I bought a set off a neighbour for $100 and I don't think I'm really going to use them. They came off a 96 Caprice so they'd fit your Buick LeSabre. I have a couple of tires that are still about 40% if you want them. They're 225/75/15's and are some high mileage touring tire but are in decent shape otherwise. I know you had said it was tough to get passenger car tires for the wagon now. Jeff
Nice looking pooches, great pics also. Old man Kirby would be all gaga with the pup. What do you mean this is'nt a dog forum?? 4 out of 5 threads go to the dogs Thanx for the offer on the wheels and tires but I dout I'd use the cop rims, I kinda like the mags on it....and I hate mags in general with exception of the old school stuff. As for the tires, Thanx again but I'm pritty happy the truck tires for many reasons. Yes I did loose some ride comfort but I gained a bit when it comes to stearing and handeling, I also like the fact that if need be I can blast down a logging road at speed witch I have been known to do from time to time. I think p235 70r15's will allways be on the Buick, I just need to get better ones in time.
