    The fact is that the sign just east of Winnipeg says we are smack-dab in the middle of North America. And exactly in between the Atlantic and Pacific borders of Canada. We are the navel of Canada, and they treat us like an afterthought. But when it comes to snow, we try to give Ontario a double-dose of the great white north.:rofl2:

    Fannie, that is why they call folks from the Canadian prairies Tumblenerds :clap:

    Norman - we heard the information on the Seattle oldies radio station and friends heard it here on a Vancouver one the same day, so likely the same story initiator.

    Whatever, we have noticed that it seems much cooler already this year than it has in the past at this time of year. It may be just that we are both a year older and feeling the weather a tad more, but I don't think so. I'm hoping that isn't the case and I'd welcome a heavy winter just to kill off the Pine Beetle that is devasting our forests.

    I think FT was prudent in putting the car away sooner than too late this year at least. Fannie - given the weather you folks have been having, I'd have put my car away in June :slap:

    And Norm, why would it be the front part of the body? Just asking....:rofl2::rofl2:

    Tumblenerds... :biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:

    Good point about whether we're the navel or the exhaust, with all the emissions we put out in Alberta. Especially since our predominant winds in the winter is from Northwest Alberta, right down into the US. I guess the 'Resources garage sale' signs faces on the southern front.:evilsmile:

    You do have wind there Norman - :whew:

    That's all it takes for Tumblenerds. Well, ahem, of course the nerd part too but having been in the 'Peg I don't think there is a shortage:biglaugh:............did I just say that?

    We even mailed a letter to friends on the prairies and addressed it to the tumblenerds living at..................and they got it. They didn't even notice on the envelope until someone else saw it laying on the table :D. Now that I think about it, should be time to do it again (they do check envelopes now.

    Has anyone noticed that we've managed to keep this thread on track the whole time? :evilsmile: Maybe not the original track, but it is on a track or should that be tracks.
