You only need them on the side you park against. So normally they just go on the right front and right rear quarter. But I have seen a few cars back in the day with them on all four corners.

I've never used them. I just can't see how a thin piece of metal scraping along a curb can resonate all the way into a car to alert the driver he was too close. Especially considering how large and plush the cars were then.

But I sure have curbed a few whitewalls and know how angry it has made me. LOL.

A lot of Mexican cities have what they call 'Gloriettas' - turning circles. Many of them are 4 or 5 lanes wide, but most are 3 lanes. Unfortunately the lines are usually worn out. The mini-buses run through those like the wind, and they have no mercy, so if you're trying to go from the inside to the outer lane, you either get with the pace car or smucked, or climb the curb. :banghead3:

I'd agree that all four corners, especially if you have One-Way streets with parking on both sides, or you want to flash those dingleballs. :biglaugh:

I was watching our National News last nite, and the anchorman was in LA interviewing Mexicans about today's voting. Well I noticed he was interviewing some TV and radio announcers and caught the name of this major Mexican Radio station in LA. We connected to it this morning, and it is a friggin' riot. I think the guys used to work for Televisa's network, they are rude and crude and funny as all get out! Piolin!!!! :rofl2: :rofl2:

Then click on Escuchanos en vivo (top right corner).

They had Hillary call in to do her quick 'saludos'.

Is she trying to explain why our national Birthrate goes up during the warm months? It goes up higher, when it gets colder! Much better than more heavy blankets and two pair of socks. :biglaugh: :biglaugh:
